Yeah, I'm doing it!

"Gymnastics tells you no. All day long. It mocks you over and over again. Telling you you're an idiot. That you're crazy. If you like running full-speed towards a stationary object, vault's for you. If you like pealing pieces of skin the size of quarters of your hands... bars is for you. Because the only thing more fun then rips, is when your rips get rips. It's super sexy. And floor, are you serious, I mean who doesn't want to parade around in a leotard getting wedgies and doing dorky choreography? It's delicious. If you like falling, then gymnastics is the sport for you! You get to fall on your face, your ass, your back, your knees, and your pride!" Gosh, that how I feel! Oh god I wanna kill myself!
As much as we (gymnastics) always say that we love what we do, there are days that we simply wanna to say this! Maybe is because like Haley said in the movie "Elite gymnastics is like, the navy seals, only harder. There are like 2000 navy seals, there are only like, 200 elite gymnasts. Guess that's because there's kids who's rather have a life than spend 6 hours a day training tricks that could kill you. Don't be fooled by the leotards people, the things gymnasts do make navy seals look like wusses. And we do them without a gun." It's so difficult, so painfull, it like wanna run away and doing that stupid cartwheels that we used to do when we were four, and don't care about how to do an Yurchenko on Vault or how to do twisting dismount on Beam!

I'm really tried, but I keep doing it, because "The only reason I'm doing these tricks, is because someone said 'I don't care if this is nuts, and I don't care if it hurts. I'm gonna climb this insanely high mountain. Watch me.' And when you're the first to climb a new mountain in gymnastics, they name it after you. A Gienger, a Rufolva, a Tchusovitina, a Shaposhnakova. They all rocked. And we salute you."
And yes, I'm seeing the movie "Stick it"

Haley: "There are things you wish for before big moments. I wish my friends were here. I wish my parents were different. I wish there was someone who got what was happening, and could just look at me and tell me we weren't crazy, that we weren't being stupid. Someone to say "I'm proud of you, and I got your back... no matter what."

And in the end of a very hard, that all we wish...

Ana Porgras retires

SHOCK! Ana Porgras withdraw only 18! World Champion in 2010 and a beam of hope for gold in London gave up gymnastics

The 2010 World Champion on Beam made the decision after an elbow injury at a Christmas training camp in France.

We will miss you, Ana, your elegance, your grace but most, we will miss your perfect and clean routines on Bars. I hope you return!

"From the moment I made this decision there is no turning back. I said stop and I’m not coming back."

Basic rule of Gymnastic♥

When kids start gymnastic, no matter what type is it, the first rule they learn is "When your feet hit the ground don't let them move!" Of course it's much easier said than done!

The "stick" of a landing often sets an extraordinary routine apart from simply a good one, and when it comes down to the medal rounds of the Olympics or World Championships, sticking the dismount can mean winning the gold – or not.

Lets see incredible sticks throughout the years:

1º - Nastia Liukin, 2008 Olympic All-Around Finals

2º - Carly Oatterson, 2004 Olymoic All-Around Finals (Look at the dismount on the Beam)

3º - Fan Ye, 2003 World Championships All-Around Finals

4º - Beth Tweddle, 2006 World Bar Finals

Look at that and tell me! Dimount make a good rountine into a perfect rountine.

Viktoria Komova

Well, I was there and for me Komova should have been the All-Around champion. I'm sorry if I'm offending someone, but she was great. Jordy Wieber was great but not as great as Komova, a gymnastic who score a 13.600 on UB Bars could not be a Champion.
Great Work Viktoria!

Impossible is Nothing

Every day... We try it, you now, go far. But there are day that I want to close my eyes and run as fast as I can, just get away. It's like arahhhhhhhhhh, I hate it.
But then, one morning with the gym empty, I climb on the beam and I close my eyes and I forget about everything else. I do it! And I can believe I'm doing it. It's amazing.
Suddenly I do it once, twice... I'm doing it! So "Impossible is Nothing".
NEVER GIVE UP. YOU CAN ALWAYS DO IT.
